Eric Coburn is a sinner saved by grace, called of the LORD as a teacher & pastor.  He is an evangelist who declares the Word to the lost and equips the saints.

He married his high school sweetheart in December of 1990, and has two wonderful kids.

Eric grew up as a missionary kid, then as a pastor’s kid from 86-present (he has special heart for those raised in the ministry). He personally committed his life to Jesus in 1990, right before joining the US Army and deploying to Desert Shield. He fought with 1st Infantry Division in Desert Storm and is a decorated combat veteran. His wife, Shanessa, founded and manages a 501c3 Corporation called American Trooper that was established to serve and support active US Troops and Veterans. Both Eric & Shanessa our Level 1 supports of 22kill.

In 1993, Eric began serving in the local church. By 1996 he served as a deacon and in 1998 the church recognized him as an elder.

Eric studied in the School of Discipleship and served the LORD in various aspects of church ministry and missions. In 2002, he was called to be part of the Calvary Chapel Dallas staff where he served as an Assistant Pastor for 12 years.

Eric is an Internationally Licensed Chaplin and certified in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). Eric also oversees the disaster relief ministry Action Crisis TeamS (ACTS)  where he, along with others, equip churches to serve their communities, as well as internationally, in disaster relief.

Eric planted Calvary Chapel Frisco by the leading of the LORD in November 2013.
